Registration Instructions and information

  • Please make sure you both enter an email address. We cannot send the assessment invitations to the same email. Once the leaders receive this information, an invitation to complete online the SYMBIS+ ASSESSMENT (designed for both engaged and married couples) will be sent to you. Do not do the assessments together. Take them separately. Once you have both completed the assessment a report will be sent to our SYMBIS facilitator. You will receive that report on Saturday, June 15. Cost of assessment is $35 per couple, payable online. If you need financial assistance to complete the report, please contact Kevin McGinnis at 618-240-6243.
  • This assessment will give each couple a 17- page personalized report on helpful aspects of your marriage such as: your personalities, your deepest longing, your money methods, your fight types and your talk styles. You will review your assessment with a Certified SYMBIS facilitator and have an opportunity to grow as couples and as individuals.
  • The Bliss Center has beds for 16 couples who want to make this weekend a true retreat by staying overnight on Friday. We cannot offer overnight accommodations for children. Depending on how many guests choose to stay, we will either have a men’s and women’s dorm or we will give private rooms to married couples. We will be able to announce details on room division after registration closes.
  • Child care (ages 6 mos to 12 yrs) will be available from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, June 14 and 8:30 am – 5 pm on Saturday, June 15. We will provide snacks on Friday night and Saturday and lunch on Saturday. If your child would like to bring a favorite snack to share, that would be great! You will be asked to complete an information form on each child and you will need to provide a cell phone number so our child care providers can reach you at any time. Please let us know in advance if your child has any food allergies!
  • Child care will be located in the Kidz Korner at the Church building. (Turn left inside the main doors, through the double doors - the Kidz Korner is located on the back wall of the Fellowship Hall). There is no fee for our child care services. If you would like to leave a donation for child care, you can do so at the registration table on Friday night.
  • All participants will receive a welcome-and-what-to-bring letter prior to the weekend.
  • If you leave a question for us on the registration form, we will get back to you as soon as we can with an answer. If you need an answer right now, please feel free to call one of the weekend leaders!
